India, Jan. 24 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday participated in a mega blood donation camp organised at Thyagaraj Stadium on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. More than 1,000 people registered for the camp, and over 900 units of blood were collected in the camp.

There is a strong public participation in the cause despite adverse weather conditions. It is one of the largest voluntary blood donation drives organised by the Delhi Government in recent months.

The Chief Minister interacted with blood donors, boosted their morale and thanked them for coming forward for what she described as a noble cause. She said donating blood on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's birth anniversary was a meaningful tribute to his ideals ...
