The people can carry out their daily activities through Laxmi bus at affordable costs. The scheme would make life smooth and bring prosperity in all household. Besides, it would strengthen the rural economy, said Patnaik.
After the day's launching, 198 buses would operate in 1,363 panchayats of six districts. By this, more than 75 lakh people benefitted. In Khordha, 22 buses would operate in 154 panchayats which would benefit 15.50 lakh people. In Puri, 44 buses would operate in 443 panhayats benefitting 14.50 lakh people.
