New Delhi, June 30 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday instructed senior officials to identify suitable land near dairy colonies across Delhi for setting up biogas plants aimed at generating green energy and reducing Yamuna pollution.
The directive came following her visit to Mathura's Kumar village, where she inaugurated a 'Waste-to-Wealth' bio-CNG plant that converts cow dung into clean fuel and organic fertiliser. She said similar projects are being planned for Delhi and announced that two such plants will be launched in the capital soon.
