India, Nov. 20 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inspected Najafgarh drain (formerly known as the Sahibi River). The Chief Minister reviewed ongoing development works and local issues across several key locations around the drain, including Shubham/RBI Block, Outer Ring Road, Meera Bagh Seva Basti, Sonia Camp and Paschim Puri Crossing.

She directed officials to ensure that all development and sanitation works are completed on time and maintained to the highest standards of quality.

The CM noted that the absence of a boundary wall along the Najafgarh Drain had resulted in the accumulation of waste on its banks. Issuing clear instructions, she directed officials to construct a boundary wall to prevent further dumping.
