India, Feb. 5 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday directed officials to take immediate action on a wide range of civic grievances after personally hearing residents during a public hearing at the Chief Minister's Jan Seva Sadan. The complaints related to education, healthcare services, pensions, damaged roads, waterlogging, and sanitation dominated the representations made by residents from different parts of the Capital.
The Chief Minister interacted with people, examined written petitions, and instructed senior officials from the concerned departments to resolve issues without delay. She warned that negligence or inaction on complaints raised during the public hearing would not be tolerated.
