Bhopal, May 18 -- Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the need for well-organized and timely planning to manage the rapid urbanization across Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted that ensuring basic amenities for the public and boosting industrial and commercial activities requires guiding urban development in the right direction.

Dr. Yadav announced the development of two metropolitan areas in the state: one encompassing Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, and Dhar, and the other comprising Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, and Biaora (Rajgarh). He stressed strengthening the management capabilities of urban local bodies and development authorities in these regions, alongside improving their financial health.
