India, Sept. 12 -- In a move aimed at ensuring the smooth and hassle-free organisation of upcoming religious festivities, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday announced the formation of high-level committees for Ramlila and Durga Puja. The committees, to be chaired by Cabinet Ministers, will address and resolve issues related to the staging and organisation of these events.
According to the CM, the committees will maintain constant communication with event organisers to prioritise their needs and suggestions. The focus is on providing prompt relief and making quick decisions.
