Bhopal, April 15 -- Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that today is a very significant day, as it marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Indian Constituent Assembly, who played a pivotal role in the making of the Indian Constitution.
Yadav emphasized that India did not attain independence in a single day. It was the result of years of relentless struggle. From Prithviraj Chauhan and Maharana Pratap to Chhatrapati Shivaji and countless revolutionaries, many sacrificed everything to free the nation from centuries of colonial bondage. India's struggle for freedom spans over a thousand years.
