Chandigarh, Feb. 20 -- Chaos erupted outside Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's residence on Wednesday when Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu was stopped from entering by Chandigarh Police. What began as an argument soon escalated into a heated altercation, with police officials and Bittu's VIP security personnel engaging in a scuffle at the gate.
The standoff reportedly lasted for over 30 minutes, during which both sides accused each other of obstructing official duties. Videos of the incident, which have gone viral, show Chandigarh Police officers attempting to forcibly remove one of Bittu's security personnel from a vehicle, leading to pushing and shoving between officers and security staff.
