Bhopal, April 21 -- Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has taken serious cognizance of the incident involving 77-year-old Uddhavlal Joshi and his wife at Chhatarpur District Hospital and has directed immediate and stringent action against those found responsible. Shukla stated that the inhumane treatment meted out to the elderly couple was extremely shameful and wholly condemnable.
He emphasized that the government considers sensitive, respectful, and dignified conduct toward patients to be a fundamental tenet of healthcare services, and such incidents will not be tolerated under any circumstances. In accordance with his directives, disciplinary action has been promptly taken.
