Ranchi, July 17 -- Ranchi producer Ajay Kumar Singh's high octane multi starrer drama movie 'Family of Thakurganj' starring popular faces like Jimmy Sheirgill and Mahi Gill is slated to release on July 19. Talking to the media on Tuesday in the State capital, Singh said that he always wanted to make a movie based in Jharkhand.
"Being from Ranchi, I always wanted to make a film based in Jharkhand because 'Dabaang' type images are generally found in states like Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. This movie is a family drama based on two brothers who live in a joint family and has mostly been shot in Lucknow and Mumbai," said the producer.
