Bhopal, March 14 -- The state capital is fully prepared to celebrate the festival of colours in a safe, eco-friendly and organised manner. The administration, police, health department and municipal corporation have made extensive arrangements to ensure cleanliness, security and communal harmony during the festivities.
With an emphasis on sustainability, authorities are promoting Gokashta (cow dung wood) for Holika Dahan and encouraging the use of organic colours to minimise environmental harm.
After the conclusion of Bhadra Kaal at 10:47 PM, over 1,500 locations across the city witnessed Holika Dahan (bonfire lighting). The administration encouraged the use of Gokashta this year to promote environmental conservation and cattle welfare.
