Ranchi, Dec. 5 -- After the gangrape of a 25- year-old Law student in Ranchi, last week the city police are on their toes to ensure the safety of all the female students around the various colleges and universities.
The police have constantly been appealing to the students to report any untoward cases at the earliest to avoid any further incidents like this. The female students are also being urged not to ignore but report even the smallest incidents of eve teasing.
"At the moment, measures have been taken around the various colleges with female students in the City. The motorbike squad called 'Shakti' is being vigilant around the various varsities," said Saurabh, Ranchi City Superintendent of Police (SP).
