New Delhi/Raipur, Nov. 27 -- The National Water Award for the year 2019 will be given to the State Chhattisgarh for commendable works on conservation and promotion of water sources in two of its districts - Bilaspur and Surajpur.
The project is part of the Narva Development Program by the Union Ministry of Water and has been completed in two years time under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel ranking its districts first in the category across the country.
While Bilaspur has completed a project for renovation of the river and drains, district Surajpur has completed a project on water conservation.
