Raipur/Guwahati, April 14 -- Governor of Chhattisgarh, Ramen Deka, has graciously sanctioned a financial grant of '2 lakh from his discretionary fund to the Assam Natya Sammelan, in a noble endeavour to foster and safeguard the rich heritage of Indian art and music. This sum shall be invested in a joint fixed deposit account, with the accrued interest annually bestowed upon a distinguished actor, in reverent memory of Raja Chakradhar Singh of Chhattisgarh.
