New Delhi, June 28 -- Delhi Public Works Department (PWD) and Water Minister, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, on Friday, announced the development of an 80 MGD (Million Gallons per Day) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in South Delhi's Chhatarpur.

The plant will draw raw water from Himachal Pradesh, ensuring a reliable and clean water supply for thousands of residents. Complementing this project, the Minister also confirmed that 85 tube wells have already been sanctioned for the constituency, with installation work now underway.
