Bhopal, April 29 -- In a significant milestone for India's cheetah conservation efforts, Cheetah Nirva has given birth to five healthy cubs at the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. With this new litter, the cheetah population at the park, located in Sheopur district, has now increased to 29, including both adults and cubs.

This birth brings the total number of cheetahs, including cubs, in the country to 31. Earlier this month, two cheetahs from Kuno were relocated to the Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary, expanding conservation initiatives in the region.
