Jammu, April 9 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly witnessed complete pandemonium for the second consecutive day as members demanded a discussion on the Waqf Amendment Act and protested against the decision of the speaker to disallow notices of adjournment motions.

Several members from the treasury and opposition benches converged near the well of the house and clashed with each other, raised slogans, tore apart paper bills standing atop desks, while exhausting their 'lung power' to shout down each other in front of the speaker's chair.
