NEW DELHI, April 2 -- Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will inaugurate the main area under the Chandni Chowk redevelopment project on April 17. The Chandni Chowk redevelopment, an estimated Rs 99 crore project has revamped the path from Red Fort to Fatehpuri Masjid.

The redevelopment work on the project had begun on 1st December 2018 and was targeted to be completed by November 2020 but due to the Covid, it got delayed by a year.

The Chandni Chowk area is developed by the Delhi Government in a modern way to promote tourism in Delhi. There will be a ban on the movement of motorized vehicles on this road from 9 AM to 9 PM so that people coming to Chandani Chowk do not have to face problems including traffic jams.
