Chandigarh, Dec. 1 -- One more resident succumbed to Covid-19 as 67 fresh positive cases were reported in Chandigarh on Monday.
With this, the death toll reached 277 while the total case tally was recorded at 17409, stated Chandigarh Health Department's evening bulletin.
A 54 years old male resident of Sector 37, a case of kidney disease and chronic liver disease, who was tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER.
The COVID fatality rate in the city was recorded at 1.59 percent. The recovery rate was recorded at 92.3 percent while the active ratio of cases was recorded at 6.1 percent which means for every 100 confirmed cases, 6 are currently infected in the city.
