Dehradun, March 3 -- Death toll rose to eight in the avalanche mishap after rescue teams found the body of the last missing person on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, the teams pulled out bodies of three labourers from the camp site which was buried in snow after the avalanche on Friday last.
Fifty four workers of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO)were buried in snow after their camp in Chamoli, Uttrakhand was hit by an avalanche. Rescue teams were able to bring out 46 workers while bodies of four labourers were pulled out from the camp on Sunday.
Army doctors said 46 workers, who were earlier rescued, have been brought to the military hospital in Jyotirmath, while one with a spinal cord injury was airlifted to AIIMS, Rishikesh.
