DALTONGANJ, April 15 -- It was a day of celebrations on Ambedkar Jayanti in Palamu. Men, women and children paraded in joy remembering the father of the constitution Dr B R Ambedkar.

Shobha Yatras were taken out in full gaiety. The mood was upbeat. The followers knew their Baba Saheb gave them face and voice both. District president of RJD Dhananjay Paswan steerer the show.

Spokesperson for the RJD Sanjay Ranjan Singh, former IPS officer, has urged the youths of the marginalized communities to take to 'pen'.

"It's time to take to Kalam (pen). India has seen enough of smoke and smell. There has been a reckless use of the fire arms. But now take pen. It will usher in a change" said the RJD spokesperson.
