Ramgarh, April 13 -- Chief Election Officer of India Gyanesh Kumar today said that he had got an opportunity to meet and greet everyone on this great land of Jharkhand. "I interacted with the volunteers, during which I realized that the roots of democracy are very strong in Jharkhand. Every citizen above 18 years of age should become a voter. Election Commission has always stood with voters, is standing and will always stand with them," he said.

Kumar was addressing media representatives after the Experience Share programme with volunteers in the auditorium of CCL Guest House in Ramgarh today.
