Bhopal, June 20 -- Two separate incidents of animal cruelty in Madhya Pradesh have ignited widespread outrage after CCTV footage captured individuals deliberately running over animals. The distressing visuals have prompted complaints from animal rights groups and public calls for immediate legal action.
In Bhopal's Shaheed Nagar area, a woman allegedly drove her car over a street dog on Wednesday evening. CCTV footage revealed the dog was stationary on the road when the woman's vehicle hit it. She did not stop after the impact and fled the scene, leaving the dog to die in agony.
