Lucknow, April 9 -- Tension gripped the state capital on Tuesday as thousands of members from the Kshatriya community staged a massive protest at the 1090 intersection, demanding strict action against Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman for his alleged derogatory remarks against Rajput icon Rana Sanga.

The demonstration, organised by 36 Kshatriya organisations under the banner of the All India Kshatriya Mahasabha, witnessed fiery slogans, symbolic displays of defiance, and a brief clash with police forces as protesters attempted to march toward the Chief Minister's residence.
