India, Nov. 7 -- The Delhi Government has launched a beautification drive along 41 major traffic roundabouts to promote themes representing various States and Union Territories. The project is scheduled for completion by the last week of January 2026, ahead of the peak tourist and event season in the Capital.
The designs will feature themes such as Rajasthan's forts and palaces, Odisha's Konark Sun Temple, Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya Ram Temple, Sikkim's monasteries, Kerala's backwater-inspired patterns, Gujarat's Statue of Unity and the North-East's bamboo artistry, among others. Further, the Public Works Department (PWD) will dedicate select roundabouts to the Indian armed forces, symbolising valour, discipline and sacrifice.
