Indore, June 3 -- Concluding a concerted drive to recover missing girls, Indore (Rural) police on Monday said their efforts had led to as many as 52 of them being reunited with their families during the month of May.
The campaign, part of the nationwide 'Operation Muskan', was launched under directives from the Police Headquarters, led by the Director General of Police.
Superintendent of Police Hitika Wasal led and monitored the operation, seeking regular progress reports from dedicated teams at each police station.
Outstanding work was arried out by the police stations of Sanwer, Gautampura, Kishanganj, Betma and Simrol. Sanwer and Gautampura located 100% of the missing girls, while the others recovered between 60% and 80%.
