Kolkata, April 2 -- After Allahabad High Court it is the turn of the country's oldest Calcutta High Court to protest against the posting of alleged tainted judges. Various lawyers' associations on Tuesday observed "demonstration" in protest against the posting of a Delhi High Court judge - to the Calcutta High Court, sources said.

The protest comes close after the three lawyers' associations writing a letter to the Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna. In the letter they urged Justice Khanna to reconsider the posting of the said "tainted" judge to the Calcutta High Court.
