Bhopal, May 21 -- Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla announced that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved two significant proposals aimed at strengthening the state's healthcare system and enhancing medical education quality.
The Cabinet sanctioned a Rs 773.07 crore project for the construction of a new 1,450-bed teaching hospital building, a 550-bed nursing hostel, a 250-seat mini auditorium, and associated external development works at Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MY Hospital) in Indore, affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College.
