India, Nov. 11 -- Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav's Cabinet on Monday approved an increase in the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana allowance to Rs 1,500 per month, sanctioned a revised cost for the Acharya Shankar Museum project in Omkareshwar, cleared the installation of solar rooftop plants on government buildings, and created new judicial posts in Mandhata tehsil.
Under the Cabinet's decision, women beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana will receive Rs 1,500 per month from November, up from Rs 1,250 at present.
The Rs 250 hike will add Rs 1,793 crore 75 lakhs to the 2025-26 budget, taking the total estimated expenditure on the scheme to Rs 20,450 crore 99 lakhs. Launched in March 2023, the scheme initially provided Rs 1,000 a month befo...
