India, Jan. 21 -- In an effort to provide last-mile connectivity and minimize passenger wait time, the Delhi Government has announced the rollout of the Bus Route Rationalisation for the West Region, undertaken jointly by the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC). This measure will also enhance reliability and ensure commuter convenience across the National Capital.

The new rationalisation structure will take effect from 21 January 2026. This exercise follows the successful rationalisation in the Transport Yamuna Region (East), and the next phase will soon begin in the North Zone, Transport Minister Dr Pankaj Singh said on Tuesday.
