Ranchi, Feb. 25 -- The Budget Session of the Jharkhand Assembly commenced today without the presence of the leader of the opposition. The month-long session will conclude on March 27. The first day of session started amid hustle and bustle with the gubernatorial address by Santosh Kumar Gangwar.
After being accorded the traditional guard of honour, Gangwar was welcomed by Speaker Rabindranath Mahato with a bouquet, in the presence of Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari and Home Secretary Vandana Dadel.
