Bhopal, June 30 -- Barkatullah University has issued notices to 20 private colleges in the state capital after irregularities were detected in faculty appointments uploaded on its official portal.
The anomalies came to light after BU became the first university in Madhya Pradesh to mandate private colleges to upload faculty data online.
The updated records revealed that in several cases, the same professor was listed at multiple colleges. Some faculty members were also found to be included in the staff roster despite not actually teaching at the institutions.
