BOKARO, May 14 -- In a swift breakthrough, Bokaro Police have solved the sensational murder of 85-year-old retired BSL officer Kalika Ray, whose body was discovered in his residence at Co-operative Colony under the Bokaro's City police station. The accused, a woman tenant identified as Runa Devi, has been arrested and has confessed to the brutal killing.

Understanding the sensitivity of the case, Superintendent of Police Manoj Swargiary promptly formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the supervision of City DSP Alok Ranjan. The SIT moved swiftly, gathering critical evidence and cracking the case within hours.
