GIRIDIH, Aug. 3 -- Police recovered the bodies of a 25-year- old woman and her one year old son from a well in Khirodih village, under Gawa police station in Giridih, on Sunday morning, the tragedy bringing forth two contradictory arguments.
While the woman's mother Chameli Devi alleged her mother in-law, father in law and her sister in-law killed them over dowry and then threw them in the well, the mother-in-law claimed she committed suicide with her son.
Puspa Devi committed suicide by jumping into the well in Khirodih village along with her one-year-old son, according to police.
