BHOPAL, March 2 -- In order to provide best treatment to the gas victim patients and people at large, various medical devices and equipment, are being upgraded in BMHRC. For the painless cataract surgery, an advanced Phaco machine has arrived in the hospital.

Endoscopy machines required for the diagnosis and treatment of various gastrointestinal diseases, CUSA machines required for brain tumour surgery and C-Arm machines required in operation theatres have also been procured. Dr. Manisha Shrivastava, Director In-charge, BMHRC said that all these machines were available in BMHRC earlier also, but some of them are either very old or out of order.
