Bhopal, May 15 -- A special camp on breast and cervical cancer screening and awareness was organised for gas-affected women at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) on Wednesday.

The programme included breast cancer screenings and Pap smear tests for cervical cancer detection. It aimed to raise awareness among women about the importance of early diagnosis and prevention strategies.

Dr Manisha Srivastava, BMHRC's officiating director, and Dr Anurag Yadav, medical superintendent, were present. Also in attendance was Rachna Dhingra from the Bhopal Group for Information and Action.
