Bhopal, May 30 -- Amid an intensifying cleanliness drive in the state capital, on Thursday Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) workers carried out cleanliness drives across all 85 municipal wards.
The drive included major roads, intersections, dividers, water sources, parks and prominent tourist spots. Rubbish was collected door to door, and waste generated during cleaning was lifted on schedule. One key site in each ward received special attention.
Senior municipal officers inspected ongoing operations and issued fresh instructions. The campaign, which began on 21 May and will continue until 30 May, is being conducted in compliance with the state government's directives.
