Bhopal, May 9 -- A 32-year-old gardener employed with the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC), Amar Ahirwar, committed suicide at his residence in the Sukhi Sewania area on Wednesday evening. According to police, he was found hanging in his home, and preliminary investigation suggests prolonged mental distress as the cause.
The incident came to light when local residents, concerned by the lack of activity in the house, peered through a window and saw Amar's body. They immediately alerted the police and his family.
