Bhopal, April 11 -- In a marathon meeting with officials, Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan on Thursday ordered sanitation teams to work at full capacity to achieve a garbage-free city tag for Bhopal.
The review meeting, attended by health officers, supervisors and zone heads, focused on ensuring "visible cleanliness" across central verges, side verges, backlanes, drains, main roads, green belts and market areas. The commissioner directed that all dry and green waste must be mandatorily cleared by 9 am each day, with a strong emphasis on night-time sweeping and waste collection.
