BOKARO, June 26 -- A blood donation camp was organized today at the State Bank of India (SBI), Sector-4 branch, under the aegis of Bokaro General Hospital (BGH). The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from the bank's employees and customers, with a total of 20 units of blood collected.
The primary objective of the camp was to ensure availability of blood for patients suffering from thalassemia and sickle cell anemia, and to raise awareness about the life-saving importance of blood donation. It was emphasized that one unit of blood can save up to three lives.
