Lucknow/Guwahati, March 2 -- Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is set to maintain good relations with its existing allies by offering them more space in Assam and accommodating them in the Uttar Pradesh Government. Sources said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may expand his Cabinet and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party president Om Prakash Rajbhar may be included in the Cabinet.

Similarly the ruling BJP will contest 11 Lok Sabha seats in Assam, leaving three for its allies Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and the United People's Party Liberal (UPPL).
