New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Monday expressed regret that even while holding the position of Acting Chief Minister, Atishi continues to disregard the dignity of her office by making reckless statements.
Making this assertion during a news conference, he also said when Atishi was appointed as Chief Minister, she placed an empty chair beside her, and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal repeatedly referred to her as a "temporary CM," thus undermining the dignity of the Chief Minister's office.
Sachdeva questioned why Atishi is now concerned about the Chief Minister's position when, for five months while Kejriwal was in jail, the position was left leaderless without any concern from her.
