New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- Several Union Ministers, Delhi BJP President, MPs, and office bearers voted early in the morning and motivated both party workers and citizens to participate in the election process.
Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva stated that although the morning voter turnout appeared slow due to cold winds, it picked up momentum as the sun rose around 11 AM.
Sachdeva alleged that until the night before the election, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal and his party workers attempted to create tension in Delhi to suppress voter turnout. However, the alertness of the Delhi Police and Election Commission officials ensured a satisfactory voting process.
