Kolkata, June 10 -- The Bengal BJP has strongly objected Bengal Government's initiative to "intentionally omit the term Operation Sindoor" from the draft motion to honour Indian armed forces for its victory in the recent armed conflict with Pakistan.
The resolution will be placed in the State Assembly on Tuesday.
"The Indian armed forces bombarded the terror hubs of Pakistan penetrating beyond hundred miles of its territory. They are our pride. The Mamata Banerjee Government has proposed to honour the armed forces, but in its bid to politicise the issue they have ended up insulting the Army, by omitting the term Operation Sindoor, acting under which the armed forces taught Pakistan and its terrorists the lesson of their lives," said State...
