Ludhiana, June 18 -- Punjab BJP on Tuesday levelled serious allegations against the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing it of distributing gifts and inducements to sway voters ahead of the Ludhiana West by-election scheduled for June 19.

In a post on its official X handle (@BJP4Punjab), the BJP claimed that AAP is attempting to win votes not on the basis of performance, but by offering lures and gifts. The party alleged that bags, sarees, suit fabrics, and detergent packets bearing the photo of AAP candidate and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora are being openly distributed among voters.
