Indore, April 11 -- The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) successfully conducted its Annual Convention for BIS Standardization Chairs and Nodal Faculties from MoU Partner Institutions at Hotel Marriott, Indore, on April 8-9, 2025. The two-day event brought together 63 delegates representing 58 academic institutions, all part of BIS's growing academic partnership network.

The convention was chaired by BIS Director General Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS), with senior officers Rajeev Sharma (DDG, Standardization) and Chandan Bahl (DDG, International Relations) also in attendance. The objective was to strengthen BIS's collaboration with academia by embedding a culture of standardization and quality in higher education.
