Bhopal, April 22 -- A scintillating musical evening was witnessed by Bhopalites at Bharat Bhavan. Here on Sunday an event was organised under Saptak series.
The programme started with 'Santoor-Sitar Jugalbandi' by young artists Sanskriti Vahane and Prakrati Vahane. They began their performance with Raga Yaman. They continued with 'Japa' in 'Jaap-Halle'.
After this, Santoor-Sitar Jugal Bandi was presented in the medieval Jhapa Tal. Sanskritit and Prakriti wrapped up their performance by presenting jugalbandi in Teen Taal, Dhrut Laya.
The Bhopalites seemed to have rushed at the hall to listen to the recital of the young players. It was a sheer music for the ears of the music buffs.
