Bhopal, June 7 -- Bhopal will send all Eid al-Adha slaughter waste for recycling at the recently commissioned rendering plant in Adampur Chhawni, the civic body decided in a high-level sanitation meeting on Thursday.

Mayor Malti Rai chaired the review, where officials outlined plans to collect and process animal remains into feed for poultry, fish and cats. This marks the city's first shift from burial to recycling.

Special teams have been formed in all 21 zones, with assistant health officers overseeing 85 wards. Vehicles designated for collection will operate across areas, and contact numbers have been shared publicly.
