BHOPAL, Feb. 22 -- Bhopal police have arrested a man, Vikas Jaiswal, in Hyderabad for the murder of his friend Sandeep Prajapati. The accused, who had been on the run for two months, was found working as a truck driver under a false identity.
The case unfolded on December 3, 2024, when Sandeep's father, Suraj Prajapati, filed a missing person's report in Bhopal. On the same day, Sandeep's sister, Vandana, received a threatening call from Jaiswal, demanding Rs 1 lakh for her brother's release. Sensing foul play, she recorded the conversation and alerted the police.
